We set up our own Garda Station in senior infants last week! The boys loved the stations for this theme. The boys got into role and put on their Garda jackets and used the walkie-talkies and handcuffs. In the construction/small world area, we used our blocks to build the Garda station and the prison and played with the Garda related cars and toys. The boys also created and moulded their play dough with different Garda mats. The children then designed ‘Wanted’ posters to hang up in the Garda station. We practiced cutting and sticking Garda pictures into our scrapbooks and also coloured the Garda crest.
