Our class enjoyed a visit to Watch House Cross Library on Thursday morning. We met the author Alex Dunne who has recently published her first book The Book of Secrets. She read extracts from her book which was an adventure story set during Halloween with characters inspired by Irish myths and folklore. Alex gave us some fantastic tips for our creative writing and we were given the opportunity to engage in a writing workshop. A big thank you to our local librarian Mary for inviting us up.
