3rd and 4th class have been working very hard over the last few months. The boys have been engaging in a number of different activities which they have thoroughly enjoyed. In March they worked very hard at learning their Féile poem and improving their conversational skills for Seachtain na Gaeilge. Well done to every boy for getting up on stage. Ye were super. The boys also paired up Ms Lenihan’s junior infant class for paired reading. The boys helped the infants read their favourite book.
In April, they participated in an activity for Heritage in Schools Week whereby they became archaeologists. The boys studied and extracted different artefacts and presented their findings to the class.
The class have also started tennis lessons in Limerick Lawn Tennis Club and will be attending these lessons over the coming weeks. They have been really enjoying learning a new skill and the good weather has been a bonus.
